Hey - was this prediction from the same folks who predicted AMD would earn $4.00 in 1998 and $5.50 in 1999 ? >

No kidding. Everytime the industry is on an uptick all the companies with memory exposure get these multi-dollar earnings forecasts. Very few of these analysts making these rosy forecasts last an entire semiconductor cycle, so the story keeps repeating.
