Someone posted here before, that there is a lot of insiders selling of JDSU. The link below is to telescan TSE industry group (Telescan Rankings).
JDSU - 52
QCOM - 11
The definition of Telescan's "insider ranking" below.
Seems to me, that it is not any massive selling by the insiders, just normal market forces, profit taking, there doesn't seem to be any fundamental reason for teoday's drop.

tscn.com INSIDER RANK — InsRk
Unit Measure: Percentile values, ranging from 99.9 (best) to 0.0 (worst)

Update Schedule: Daily

Definition: Insider Rank gives the strength of the net stock purchases by insiders (corporate officers, directors, and beneficial owners) over the last six months. It is calculated by combining values for these ProSearch criteria:

Insider Trading (which covers the latest three months)

Insider Trading Change 3-Month

Insider Trading Change 6-Month
Stocks will therefore have high values for Insider Rank if: more insiders have been buying than selling stock in the last three months, and the Insider Trading value has risen in the last 3-month and 6-month periods.

Guy,..Re:. JDSU looks exactly like QCOM did two weeks ago (12/1/99). If JDSU breaks the 26-day MA, then it will look different.

Another view. Looks like JDSU needs to show some positive price action soon to maintain higher lows. <g>
