of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that Bell Mobility, an innovator in the
use of CDMA digital wireless technology, has launched QUALCOMM's new QCP(TM) 2760 Thin Phone in the Canadian
market. This marks the Canadian debut of the sleek, lightweight QUALCOMM QCP-2760 Thin Phone, a dual-band,
dual-mode handset that can operate in both 1.9 GHz CDMA digital PCS mode and 800 MHz analog cellular mode. The
QCP-2760 Thin Phone features an ultra-thin design with a permanent internal battery and hot-swappable external battery
options.

The new QCP-2760 Thin Phone incorporates QUALCOMM's fifth-generation highly-integrated CDMA Mobile Station
Modem (MSM(TM)) chipset and system software that greatly extends talk and standby times with external battery options.
The QCP-2760 Thin Phone is so thin and light -- weighing in at just over 4 ounces -- that it is easily pocketable, yet supports
state-of-the-art phone, pager, voice mail and advanced data features. The QCP-2760 Thin Phone features a five-line, backlit
LCD display and has two smart keys just below the display that enable easy navigation through the user interface menu options,
including a customizable phone book with 199 memory storage locations. The phone also includes 8 kbps and 13 kbps
vocoders, as well as the new Enhanced Variable Rate Vocoders (EVRC) which support increased network capacity for the
carrier while maintaining maximum voice quality for their customers.
Data connectivity to a PC or palm-sized computing device is available through an optional data cable. This allows customers to
use their QCP-2760 Thin Phone as a digital modem for dial-up access to email or other critical information while out of the
office. The QCP-2760 Thin Phone also supports the new generation of wireless microbrowsers for Internet access. The easy
to use microbrowser on the QCP-2760 is capable of accessing Bell Mobility's Mobile Browser(TM) service. The Mobile
Browser service provides consumers with instant access to various on-demand web sites including financial information, sports
scores, news, weather and email.
A complete line of accessories is available for the QCP-2760 Thin Phone, including a data connectivity kit, desktop charger,
