Bill,

Here is another interesting idea. NTPA (Netopia). DSL Equipment manufacturer. Customers include all major DSL service providers (COVD, RTHM,...and many others) Sales abroad: France Telecom, Telekom Italia,...
Second line of their business is web hosting, which is also growing exponentialy.

Market cap 700 mil. At least 2 times less than its closest competitors, like CMTN (Copper Mountain), which I also strongly recommend at these levels. Sales are smaller, but growth rates are comparble, and customer base seems to be stronger. Looks undervalued.

Current price 45. I started a small position yesterday, and will try to buy more if it goes bellow 40, if any kind of market fall will drag it down.

Good luck.

I sold some VLNC into the recent runup because it now represents WAY too big of a percentage of my overall portfolio. I have not sold any < $15, but I'm sure you'd prefer to believe that I have.

You wanted a response. Not that you're entitled to one, but Robert said it best:

Talk about consistency:

The Valence (VLNC) stock fraud will eventually, and inevitably, trade at zero. Don't let short
term runups and hype from crooked touts like Don
Wolanchuck mislead you.

The VLNC stock fraud.

My initial short recommendation was between 7 and 8 a share. I shorted frequently until the
stock hit 4 and change and bounced where I
recommended covering a least a portion of existing short positions.

I recommended reshorting when the stock traded above 7 1/2 at any price over that limit.

We'll see how the stock trades over the next few months. At this point, I find it hard to believe
that management has suddenly found an ethics
handbook...so I'm going to snoop around a little and see what I can dig up about these "P.O."'s
If the stock gets pumped further, it may be wise to
place stops in the low teens (it can always be reshorted later).

Unfortunately, VLNC is not as clearcut as GUMM. In GUMM's case there is zero doubt that
the stock promotion fraud revolves around a
pseudoscientific fraud (i.e. homeopathic "cold cure"). VLNC has now introduced a new element
of risk. Eventually we'll find out if it is real or not.
