Well it may not have looked like much of a selloff. . .but it isn't so much how much the indexes were down. . .it is more WHICH stocks were sold off? Check out our October 27 port. . . down 5.08% today on 30 stocks. . .now THAT is a serious selloff. . . and the very best companies in the list were the ones that sold off the hardest! Port only in Classic SI. . .here: techstocks.com then here: techstocks.com More groups of stocks that were hit really hard today: techstocks.com techstocks.com techstocks.com So the very stocks that were in such hot demand from August through November were sold off heavily today. . . the selloff was so narrow that it barely showed up on the Dow and Nasdaq. . . but 5% in a single day is to be considered a "crash". . . of the best stocks. THIS is the selloff we have wanted. . . who cares whether Alcoa sells off. . . it is JDSU and RHAT and VERT that we have been hoping would selloff enough that we could get on board. Now that I see that the selloff was indeed organized. . .I must re-think my position. . . as it appears that we are in the midst of exactly what we wanted. . .even though it doesn't appear as such in the indexes. I am still playing the smaller swing trades. . . which should be AMAZING if there is an NYC transportation strike [everyone staying home trading instead of going to work]. . . .imagine the volatility when we get 50,000 extra daytraders online. But now we need to go back into pick-the-bottom mode. . . so we can squeeze into the best-of-the-best. The window will be narrow. . .for sure. Rande Is Rande Is
