Effective Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, the company's common shares will begin
trading on the Canadian Venture Exchange under the symbol PNP. Also, effective
Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, trading in the company's common shares will no longer
be reported on the Canadian Dealing Network.
Pinetree's chairman and chief executive officer, Sheldon Inwentash states: "We
look forward to trading on the Canadian Venture Exchange. We believe that the
credibility of the CDNX and its auction-style market will help our shareholders
realize the value of their holdings in Pinetree." Subsequent to the completion of the
company's listing application, Howard Hanick submitted his resignation as a
director, secretary-treasurer and chief financial officer of the company, and Luigi
M. Falzone, the company's vice-president, legal and corporate affairs, was
appointed as a director of the company.
