A little market input.

Stocks always respond to the market no matter how sound fundamentally they are or how "hot" the sector is. Eventually, stocks pull back. This is normal, this is good but it is always necessary to know when a pullback IS normal and good and when it is something more ominous.

Right now the market indicators (PnF) have been negative (the short term) for over a month. This told us pull backs were coming. However, today, it looks like the longer term indicators have turned negative. I'll have confirmation tomorrow but this does not help the stocks popular here on this thread or any other.

I don't want to go into all the details of the indicators but in essence when things are this negative it is not good to chase stocks. If entering a stock have stops in place if they are trades. If long, depending on the chart, it may be good to have protective puts or calls on stocks.

RHAT has sold off pretty heavily but there is support at 200. If it moves past this 200 support by breaking that support at 195, that could indicate an even larger sell off. The sector that RHAT is in is holding up well but RHAT is under performing its peers in that sector. It is also under performing the market. I wouldn't be a buyer of RHAT here based on technicals and would wait to make sure the pullback is over.

I only mention this as a technical guide. I think Linux stocks are exciting and watch them closely but I'm a technician. I will wait to know it is safe to enter and to make sure things aren't going to slide further.

Just peeked in for the first time on this thread. Will lurk some more as I hope to learn some things about Linux etc.

Best to all,

Jan
