SF,
I have accnts at both DLJ and AMTD for about 3 years.
DLJ is very good if you couple it with their "MarketSpeed" software. Fast executions, good portfolio tracking, all in all good tools, very good option tracking. Software is 25/30$ amonth. Biggest short fall is pricey option comm. and slow call in response sometimes.
AMTD.. Best call in response time of any I use, 1 ring you have a rep. Good to above average for on line trades, re ease of use and execution times are better than average. One way or the other in the past 5/6 mos. I have not had an order take more than 1 to 2 min. (this was not the case in the old days) even on heavy vol days. This is not the place to go for research but great comm across the board.
If I had to choose just one, I personally would go with AMTD..if you have an alt for all your tracking/research etc.
Best Regards, RZ
