Linux Buying Continues; NSO HAS Marketing Deal with VA Linux-

Linux enthusiasts continue to stake out new companies involved with the alternate OS.
This morning's linux du jour includes XYBR, UCMP and LTWO. Remarkably there
may be one small cap, partnered with high flyer Va Linux, that remains relatively chaste.

On October 20, storage network (SAN) company Nstor (NSO), announced a
marketing deal with VA Linux (LNUX)-

OCTOBER 20, 1999 -- nStor(TM) Corporation, Inc. (AMEX: NSO), a global
manufacturer of information storage solutions, today announced that VA Linux
Systems, a leading provider of Linux-based solutions, has entered into an agreement to
market nStor's new scalable and flexible RAID-Ready NexStor 8Le/LJ storage system
with VA's Linux servers and workstations.

"Our partnership with VA Linux Systems gives nStor access to a strong customer base
that values reliability, availability and serviceability," said Steven Hammond, vice
president of marketing for nStor Corporation, Inc. "VA Linux Systems' expertise
provides nStor with the opportunity to address the unique requirements of the Linux
market more quickly and more comprehensively."

"We selected the NexStor 8Le/LJ storage system for its robust design, expandability
and nicely integrated feature set," said Leonard N. Zubkoff, Chief Technical Officer for
VA Linux Systems. "We are particularly happy with its remote management features,
which comply with the SAF-TE standard and allow us to respond to problems as they
occur on a real-time basis."
