J.T. <<The close is what counts.>> indeed...since intraday volatility has increased so much, the current levels are not important...things can reverse completely at the drop of a hat. still, the market's internals have deteriorated so much, that i actually was unable to find a comparable period in this century. yesterday we has 87 new highs vs. 472 new lows on the NYSE with the NAZ at a record high and the other indices not far off record highs. this is truly unique...and it will need to be resolved. regards, hb
