ShopNow.com was recently rated the third fastest growing site on the Internet according to Media Metrix, which tracks Internet audience traffic and advertising.
Under the terms of the agreement, Net2Phone's unified messaging and Internet telephony services will be offered through a new communications center on the ShopNow Network, enabling shoppers and online businesses to send and receive general and shopping related voice mail, faxes, email and telephone calls. Shoppers on the ShopNow Network will be able to place calls to any ShopNow merchant and to other ShopNow shoppers via the Net2Phone Internet-based telephone service worldwide and experience savings up to 95 percent over traditional long distance calls. Net2Phone was recently named the leader in Internet telephony minutes routed by International Data Corp. with 39% market share.
ShopNow.com, recently ranked as the 10th most popular shopping site on the web (PC Data), will also resell Net2Phone's Click2Talk technology to its base of 40,000 businesses and merchants. Click2Talk allows ShopNow.com businesses and merchants to maximize the impact of their website with live interactive voice communication. Click2Talk will be offered through the ShopNow eBusiness Solutions division.
