I assume that they mean that Nokia would be buying the design and development engineers in the handset division while Kyocera would get the manufacturing personel and equipment. Basically I think they would be selling the teams that have been designing Q's phones to Nokia (Tero will have a heart attack if this is true).....while Kyocera would get the current phone line-up and manufacturing facilities.

The ASIC/HDR personel would be staying with Qualcomm.

Handset R&D is not ASIC R&D.

It will be mainly the software, test and manufacturing devlopment side of the business.

The crown jewels are safe.
