El,

We (CPQ) needs some BIG buyers to step UP to the plate here !

Even though volume today is good ... CPQ is just NOT getting the play it deserves ... CMGI, China, Erricson, --

Our (CPQ's) time will come and it should be soon !

Michael

Change of heart. The biggest mistake you can make in investing is getting married to a stock regardless of its performance! I was taught this lesson twice before but made the same mistake with Compiggie. I bought 4K shares last fall, did nicely, sold half at the top and then bought them back on the way down, even at $19. Meanwhile I'm sitting married to this thing with big losses while everything else is going up. I said I wouldn't sell til it hit $50 but I lied. Sold 1K today to put into ATYT. CPQ is getting down from 30%+ of my portfolio to 10%+. ATYT hitting 50% after increasing almost 50% in a few weeks.

We should know better. I agree with whoever said that we can't expect much til earnings. Unless earnings are increased the stock can't go very far. It's trading at a multiple of 24x or so, which isn't all that bad for CPQ.

Anyway, we'll see what happens to the rest my holding but it is on alert to perform or follow today's thousand piglets to the slaughterhouse to be made into something with a higher market value.

Stuart.
