Ben, re: Your audio experience. Hmmmm. I wonder why my results seem to be different than your's? Lest you think I have a "tin ear", I have 6 foot Magneplaner's and a 15" Velodyne on my entertainment system. While I'm not comparing the results on my PC to this system, I am pleased with the PC sound. (Good speaker system on the PC, though). Are you using RealPlayer G2? It's much better than the previous RealPlayer, (better compression algorithm). In fact, here is a Classic station from Kent State that broadcasts classical in stereo, and I think it sounds quite good.
