"there is no REASON for selling. . .and I would guess that today is setting up more buying opportunities than anything else. . . . but again. . .always keep tight stops"

I agree...and since everyone KNOWS that January will be big...the money on the sidelines is watching December tick by...waiting for the sell-off...wanting to get into the market...the shorts are watching for the sell off so they can cover...money waiting to buy, but the window is closing...

Cautiously bullish,
SR

rande -you summed it up pretty well and i think we will work through this pause period and end up with higher gains for the week, as long as the volume as there, this market is going to have dip buyers, the only problem I am having is figuring out are we getting ready for a january launch like everyone is anticipating, or will we get a january head fake-- money pours in, big jump, then mutual funds start selling to lock in last years gains, hard to launch a new major move without some consolidation (you would think)
ps when are the olb's going to move again? I was expecting this week, but nothing so far (except nats, and it hit my open sell at 6 1/2 yesterday)
