There is a book called "Pretending to be Normal"- it may not apply to your son, but I think it applies to mine. It is written by a woman who has Asberger's syndrome (not exactly what my son has but very close). It is a GREAT book for us parents because this woman has a family and a job now- even though she is "different"- and will always be that way. It sounds like you don't really need to read it, your problems may be behind you, but it is a very good book and you might enjoy it.
