My understanding about Blodgett and all other analysts:

What they say has nothing to do with giving us good information. They are driven by the needs of their employer and the status of the shares theemployer manages.

Blodgett was at RStevens last year and was pitted against Jonathan Cohen who was then MLynches guy. MLynch had no position in the nets then. Don't you remeber when J Cohen said aol and AMZN were worth $10.?

Now Blodget is at MLynch and JCohen is at Wit Capital. Their opinions are dictated by thier paycheck.

What they say is an effort to create an opinion and behavior in investors to act in a manner that benefits their employer.

So while their spouting may have a short term effect the basic story ( I won't say fundamentals, here ha ha) of the stock remains the same. They never give anybody a heads-up!
They are only spinning for their own benefit.

I would not pay much attention to him.

I wasn't posting that info because I believed him, just as a matter of info for the thread. I don't believe todays drop was caused by his comments, just a nervous long overdue temporary slowdown of the train.
