i have no idea...i guess the indices have to be held up, and that's the simplest way of achieving that. or maybe it's just money rotating from the dotcoms to softie because it is 'safer'. or they think it needs to catch up with the NAZ mania...possibly a combination of all of the above. but there's no discernible 'reason' as such as far as i can tell. perhaps we can only achieve happiness when MSFT represents 50% of GDP...who knows? <gggg>
