Bob, thanks for the post re: taxation on alcohol. I was just wondering what if anything is going on that might affect the 601 program..you are keeping on top of this better than I--is it still supposed to be voted on any day now? Best of luck to HDI. Ted

Advise and hope for Kevin Browns past planning? This is as close as I have come to hoping for an increase in taxes. The two Russia Today stories have my hopes raised above 1%. That Russia can increase business interests by illuminating bootleg products is valid. I think K. Brown must have realized this show down was bound to happen. Just like the Swiss Nestle may have known they would suffer the bootleggers wrath before the powers that be in Russia saw the gain the bootleggers were to make was an artificial gain for Russia as a country. I wrote an unsolicited suggestion to Kevin that he entice Russia somehow. Promising an increase in the security within the HDI company as the demand for holograms increased would show a focus to the future to the relationship. That other companies can step in and offer the Russian government a deal on cheaper holograms is possible if HDI flinches. The beginning of an increased security can be very low budget by having basic designs drafted eventually. The time to build an actual facility will arrive and two things will be accomplished by then. There will be some concepts already on the board and more important the account with Russia will have generated grand quantities of revenue. Some of us may even decide to name a child after Kevin by then. ( Showing my optimistic side here.. maybe I am a manic depressant type ) While I'm in the mood I'll state here that by then other growing nations will be moved to employ holograms in their brand protection systems. ( Did I hear plan for better security ? I imagine that is in K Browns notes somewhere but that he is like us 'biting a few nails') As with all unsolicited advice I give and receive there was no reply... yet. Steven
