Seems to be settlement rumors. I'll believe it when I see it, but the upside of such could be as high as $130 IMO.

I suspect also that Win2K will add some punch in January. It's about to be released, and several months before many had predicted.

Feels to me like the market is looking for an excuse to drive MSFT higher. Nothing like a new all-time high to pick up the spirits, eh?

James, me thinks somebody wants you to *think* that they know something. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big momentum play that tries to play today's action.

I still don't believe it's wise to trade options on MSFT until the stock starts trading on the company's performance again, not the litigation environment and its associated rumors.
