I decided and bought my first chunk in the sector using XLF. I've only had C otherwise for over a year in the newsletter portfolio and it has been a champ. I was using ALL my free personal cash for LRCX and BOWG... Now I have been branching out as this interest rate bump is maybe making a good buy time for the XLF sector. We've been discussing an interesting closed end Financial fund with a good discount to NAV that has many of the laggards in it... For the fund name, see suite101.com P.S., look at the insider buying at ASO and WM. Insider buying warning: Bagley (CEO that came over from AMAT via ONTK) bought about $1M of LRCX at about $24 before it hit $8.375. These people are often early as they see value before the market and you have to be patient. Are the insiders just now buying or did they buy a few months ago before we hit these levels? 8)
