KQIP stuck in the 60's. No complaints though, it needs to rest before it runs again. Any problems from this?

KPNQwest partially lifts share restriction

AMSTERDAM, Dec 29 (Reuters) - European data communications company KPNQwest (NasdaqNM:KQIP - news) said on Wednesday it will lift some trading restrictions in early 2000 in its C ordinary shares, which were part of a directed share program from its initial public offering in November.

Each participating employee, affiliate or associate of KPNQwest and Qwest Communications International Inc (NasdaqNM:QWST - news) may sell as many as 5,000 shares beginning January 3, 2000, KPNQwest said in a statement. This amounts to 1.7 million shares, or three percent of the total number of C shares. (seems like a small number of shares, should not create much impact)

KPNQwest is a joint venture between Dutch KPN Telecom NV (NYSE:KPN - news) and U.S. group Qwest Communications International Inc.

The lock-up restrictions on the remaining shares purchased in the directed program are set to expire on February 6, 2000, the company added. I guess we need to look at SEC documents to see how many shares might be in here.

KQIP hovering around my mental stop. What does it look like in Europe? Are we putting in a bottom, or is there more carnage to come?
