<Floppermine had speed problems? You are admitting this?>

Jim, calm down. Paul is just acknowledging the fact that Coppermine was already delayed by two months from September to November due to speed problems. There are no more speed problems with Coppermine anymore, despite those "poor yield" rumors.

If you'd remove your head from Sander's derriere, you would have read about this 6 months ago.

Re: "If so, I see it as a gift to Dell and possibly a preventative measure to try and keep GTW from defecting to Athlon."

Good business for Intel - tough noogies for AMD !

Re: "Still...no GOOD motherboard to run on....So they stick a 800MHZ Floppermine in a BX motherboard I guess..."

Camino Motherboards exist - and if people want the FASTEST CPU in the world, they will buy the Camino/Rambus boards.

Settling for AMD would be settling for second best.
