It's unfortunate for long time NN holders that valuation wasn't tied to MTBFs.

Tunica: There is an important point when considering the
Leaders. Leaders are the ones who invariably ensure that the next generation Standards conform to their technologies.

NN was but now has no leadership role regarding next generation standards. This is a disadvantage which NN must face. CSCO,LU and NT are all pro IP and it is likley that they and the many Terrabit Newly starts will push in that direction.
