They say it's the fastest integer processor on the planet and they also say it outperforms the Athlon in floating point as well. Seems to me that if you disagree you should be calling up Compaq and complaining rather than complaining to me. Here's compaq's claim: specbench.org Why would Compaq be helping Intel when we all know they hate Intel and love the Athlon? EP
