Did you see the WSJ article on JNPR CEO Kriens' appearance on CNBC? According to Kriens: "The real competition here is not between Nortel and Lucent, it's Cisco and Juniper in this market. The focus of both companies is to the drive the performance curve up." Kriens said Cisco's Monday announcement unveiling a new platform brings more performance to the network and therefore more demand. "It's good news for Juniper as the other company performing in the market, and the challenge now is for other companies to get in from a standing start, because the train just got faster." interactive.wsj.com
