I do believe that the "heap hot coals" thing was a part of the verse that was meant for only the very worst sinners. I would also think that the sender of the message wrote down the whole scripture in haste and did not intend to send that part of it to you. From what I have seen on the board, it seems that the olive branch is being offered to you. In the interest of peace I would respectfully ask you to accept it. You will not be sorry you did. Perhaps I have used the word "religion" because it seems to be the usual word used to describe any kind of worship or faith. I really prefer not to use the word because to me it means the churches of earlier days like the Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, and on and on. I prefer to use the word "Faith" only. All of the old churches I have listed have strayed away from the teachings of the bible and added the opinions of the people who "rule" the church of each name. In the Faith that I follow there is only one ruler. The Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit. That may sound like three entities but they are all a part of the whole one.
