"baddtiming" -- re NSO: No problem, it's hard to re-trace hundreds of previous posts when you first get-into a new thread. Anyway, welcome -- and I'm sure you'll find this the best (friendliest, and most useful) thread on SI or anywhere else. As far as NSO goes: Anyone else please correct me if I'm mis-representing things, but my impression is that MOST people who've talked about NSO here feel that it's a very undervalued stock that SHOULD make sharp gains -- but there's also some frustration that it hasn't done so already. I believe Kimberly has also spoken well of it and bought some -- BUT I've been unable to track down a specific post by her on it, so do not want to put words in her mouth. Maybe someone else can recall her position for certain... Part of the reason the stock hasn't performed much so far may be that it's on the AMEX, where things are usually much less-volatile than on the NASDAQ or the OTC/BB. Other reasons, your guess is as good as mine. I've got quite a bit of NSO myself, and plan to hold for a while unless I really need the cash for something else -- and I think most other shareholders here who've indicated their positions lately are ALSO are still holding. That said, there are obviously no guarantees as to if/when the stock will move as we all think it SHOULD. If you want to check-out some of the recent posts on NSO, go to the bottom of the page and do a SEARCH for "nso" under "StockTalk" -- that'll bring up a list of posts from this thread AND others over the last week or so, for you to browse through. Good luck, whatever you decide -- and again, welcome to the thread... Vagabond
