<I figured it out.... The $40 price target is for PALM only!>

Yes, I listened to the Sutro On24 interview. This guy sounds so stupid that it gives you a big laugh. His points and my views :

1. He said Palm is worth $40 and coms at $50 is fully priced. So he thinks coms itself is only worth $10 !

2. He think coms is worth 1 time revenue due to its shitty businesses. But even at 1 time revenue coms itself is worth $17 + $3 Cash. $40 + $17 + $3 should give coms/palm a $60 price tag.

3. coms always demand a higher price to sales ratio higher than 1 - even at its lowest point it always had a psr north of 1.2 and it never stayed there long.

4. This Patrick guy from Sutro sounds very enthusiastic about Palm but sounds very confused as to the future potential of the coms/palm combination. I think something complex like this is hard for normal guy to comprehend <G>.

5. In part of his analysis, he seems to regress and started talking why they recommended 'buy' on coms at $20 but his reasonings are all very mixed up. He said at $20, you are getting Palm free, something like that, I really don't know what he is talking about - he is jumping back and forth between his current and past recommendations. He should take a lesson on clear writing ??
