Frank,..Re:.The nasty sell of with the Nasdaq was attributed to the reporting of the CPI figures this morning. The CPI came in better than expected, I believe the sell off in the bond market was attributed to the retail sales number which came in significantly stronger than expected. <g> cbot.com March futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average(sm) moved lower this morning after the Commerce Department announced that retail sales had increased by a much larger-than-expected 0.9% in November, with most of the increase stemming from a surge in auto sales. The data gave new life to fears that interest rates may be forced to rise early next year in order to keep inflation in check. Cheers, Lee
