Did you all see the news released after the bell on yahoo? CS is talking about spinning off "Aprisma" which is the new name for "Spectrum". Interesting.

Based on that options trade I saw, I'd say that something's going on with CS tomorrow. You just don't go out and spend money on an option that is $5 away when you only have 2 days (don't count Friday) to trade them for a profit. A profit means the stock needs to get above $30.25 (basically).

Generally speaking, a company will avoid a release of BIG NEWS on a Friday options day, even more so when its triple witching friday.

The only other explanation for the Dec. 30 options purchase is that the options buyer is not up to speed on implied volitility and time value..... especially when CS only moves $2 in a week at the most, and we've already moved $1.50 of that so far just to get to $25.

A final theory would be pure speculation. But I have found that speculation may envolve 10, 20 or 30 contracts at most, not 108!
