Interesting plug for Iridium:

Last night on The Late Show with David Letterman one of the guests was Tory Murden, the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic. During the interview she mentioned that she had an Iridium phone with her during the trip, which she said "worked great," and she talked about using it to keep track of the position of Hurricane Lenny.
