Don't beat up yourself - we all do that once in a while. I bought JDSU at 238, didn't sell at 260, not even at 245 yesterday. Now, as it sits precariously on its 220 support - I wish I had. Its taking me all the discipline in the world not to average down. Ah well, I can become a LT *investor* if it breaks @ 220 <gg>.

The idea is to learn and not repeat the mistake next time....

markets are like living things. You gotta feed them - give a little to take a lot more, and pullbacks are healthy.

I wrote some Dec 230 calls today at 9. This seems to work the best for me with CMGI since longer term, I always seem to lose the stock. This way, with only a few days until expiration, changes are greater to keep te stock and the premium. Just a thought.
