I remember when 600,000 shares was a big day for SanDisk.

I agree that today's volume was relatively anemic and we have seen drops like this in the past for no apparent reason. With Q4 ending (and a probable near doubling of '98 Q4 revenues), strong Q1 2000 aftermarket demand, a possible split in the future, the unknown dimension of the Iomega Effect, finalization of the Toshiba JV, a Lexar injunction(?) and a huge upswing for retailers in the making, etc... I think it would be premature to make any judgements about price fluctuation.

It is becoming harder and harder to shake out weak hands.
