The first time I drove up Lolo Pass from Idaho to Montana the mountains were a checkerboard of one square mile clearcuts. A sign on the road identified them as PLC land. This was 1996. I made the trip again last October and the clearcuts were not visible because of the regrowth. I've casually watched the stock over the years and it trades the 20's low to high and back again. I didn't know of the New Zealand timber. Time to look again. Thanks.
