With a big market correction I think it will go under $1000. There is not much support for this thing. General Re looks like not such a great performer. Buffet gave an eloquent talk about promising companies that disappeared early in the 20th century and compared them to today's tech sector. But he did not say how many sasparilla, straight razor, buggywhip, etc. companies also became extinct. I heard that scientists are working on a 6-month depilatory gel that will end razor blades and shaving forever. Considering Buffets age, Brk looks risky to me. History doesn't stand still.

triple bottom break today -- next technical support around 1500 -- probably more like 1475 since there is a discount for B shares. That also works out to something real close to a forward P/E of 25.

This stock traded at nearly double that -- was it really worth more than 50 times forward earnings then? I think it is pretty easy to make a case for it at 25 times forward earnings.

Good luck all.
