Didn't you see the Oracle numbers? 4½ over estimate, stock up over 7 afterhours.

This should have been the absolute worst qtr ever for Oracle what with the y2k lockdowns, etc. But demand was solid, wait until next year when the floodgates open up again. I'm not a big y2k paranoiac (and in fact I think many companies used it as an excuse to ignore the internet erosion into their business)... but this qtr it is really there and we've heard from IBM etc. that it is affecting THEM.
