Upgrading to Rambus based computer I am curious about those who have stated the desire to upgrade or have already ordered a Rambus based machine. 1. What is basic configuration of the machine you are upgrading from? 2. What did you feel, was the need to justify upgrading at this time? ( besides maybe??? helping out your investment? ) For ref. I presently have a P-II 266 w/128 Sdram running NT which I built two years ago. I intend on upgrading in the coming year, looking toward a multimedia machine with Firewire interface as key requirement. I may just Buy a Sony stock machine and then make some alterations. regards don
