G* is the sponsor of Iditarod this year. It will be interesting to see how they handle that considering the coverage. The topic came up with Martel, the provider in Iceland for the North Atlantic. Martel claimed that coverage, depending on the circumstances, could extend far beyond the 1500 mile radius. Martel claims the ability to cover the entire north atlantic with only minimal exceptions with just gateways in europe and US. Perhaps the same principle applies to Alaska. Regards, Dave
