Your "brainwash" is complete. You could not recognize the truth if it hit you over the head. You probably think OJ is innocent as well.

"Year of the Rat" refers to the Chinese calendar. The year this all began taking place was, ironically, The Year of the Rat on their calendar. It's a well sourced book. If you happen to pick it up in a bookstore, you'll find that almost half the book is reference notes. It documents well that there was treason in high places.

Your blithe dismissal of these books indicates you have no interest in knowing the truth.
