<<Welcome aboard shorts...long time no see...the doomsayers get louder, and the AOL community keeps growing...see you all at the next split! Good luck!>>

CGarcia:

How true. We had a tech sell off today, which pretty took down all major tech stocks, and the shorts, and naysayers come out their shaks to spill their doom and gloom. Just pathetic. Had I listened to any of these clowns, I would have sold AOL at 86 (THAT'S BEFORE THE SPLIT!) back in September '99.

This free ISP stuff is old, and getting older by the minute. Like many others I have AOL as my ISP, and I also have an account with Alta Vista, and Netzero. I use them as backup, because my experience shows that they are not very reliable, plus content sucks.

AOL is quite high at the moment (about 165 pre-split), but IMO it will be much higher by Jan. 2000 earnings. I think the metrics in January will blow estimates out of the water. Just a question of time.
