Eric,

Toward the end of last week I moved my 401k out of stocks and into bonds, due to the wacky, narrow advance of this mkt, and th y2k thing. I will not get back in with my 401k until Jan, if then.

Re my stocks, i'm of the same mind as you; I think lots of people will wait till the last minute then pull the trigger. I also suspect lots of folks got out in Nov. due to y2k fears, then got back in as the mkt kept going up. What do you think those folks will do in the next couple of weeks?

Victor

Eric: Its an integrated world economy. Lets see what does not work outside the US and see what impact that has on us. Key commodities such as oil could be disruptive. Heaven forbid there are irrational hateful attacks anywhere to add misery to any computer problems. The Middle East, for example, is already enough of a wild card with the political situation. Many oil producing countries have questionable infrastructure.
