Oh, Caliper is definitely legit. It already has customers like Amgen and Eli-Lilly and a distribution partner in Agilent Technologies (previously Hewlett-Packard). Here's an interesting link to a webcast of a biotech investment conference held back in June. If you scroll down, there's a section you can listen to that includes founder of Caliper, Michael Knapp. Interesting listen. Scroll forward to about 28:00 into it if you don't have the time to listen to the other speaker (Lewis Shuster of Pharmacopeia) biospace.com CALP, as the ticker symbol has now been changed to, will start trading tomorrow.
