When I did finally get through once, the guy I spoke to didn't really seem to care.

I did speak to a helpful young lady one day though, a few weeks ago. I had purchased QNTS on margin, and then got a margin call the next day. I got a hold of them at 5AM Chicago time, and was told that their computers goofed up. QNTS was indeed a marginable stock, but since they couldn't fix my account until that evening, I was unable to trade during the course of that day! At least nothing bad happened, and at least they didn't liquidate my position to satisfy the margin call.

Oh, but let's not talk about whether I would have been better off had they liquidated my QNTS position!!!!
