BR, i have in my hand lu's nov 19 release about its LambdaRouter all optical router which is based on microscopic mirrors, which seems a quantum jump above electrical mechanical switching you mention, which is similar to the type of technology csco uses. no doubt you and i are writing of the same lu router, but i missed something. in any event, i do have some knowledge of that; and i find it astonishing that the stockmarket greets it with a yawn. they should have released it as a qcom technology, which would've run up 100 points. i don't see how you can call 2,000 miles without regeneration a "niche". sending data fast and cheap over fibre is the name of the game. i think it is a huge change, but, again, yawn. good luck and thanks for your reply. j
