Intel to take 30 per cent stake in ciol.com

New Delhi, December 14: Microprocessor giant Intel is set to take a 30 per cent stake in ciol.com, the infotech news portal of Cybermedia that publishes the popular PC Quest and Data Quest magazines. The publishing house would slice off the portal from its other sites for the purpose.

The new company, Cyber India Online Limited (CIOL) with equity participation from Intel will be based in Bangalore, according to Cybermedia insiders. Currently the online division is based at Gurgaon. (Aaj Thank-India Today)
