My underlying basis is merely the sequence of events. CMGI was not putting out anything until the MYWAY>COM release then suddenly booom news releases in CBQI's industry.

I will give another interesting scenario. Go look at the subsidairies of CMGI ...

CMGI's operating companies are a diverse group of Internet companies in various stages of development, offering a broad array of technologies and services.

1ClickCharge, 1stUp.com, Activate.cnet, Activerse, Adsmart, AltaVista, CMGI SOlutions, Enage< iCast, Magnitude Network, MyWay.com (Partnered with CBQI and CBQI will be integrating its properties, www.prioritycash.com, its Electronic Funds Transfer platform and www.bid4it.com, its auction site), NaviNet, Navisite, Saleslink, Tribal Voice, ZineZOne.com ...

Plus their @ Ventures which includes Lycos which is Captial House;s clinet. The Lycos Network is currently the second most visited hub on the Internet, reaching one out of every two Web users (source: Media Metrix).

ALso in the news release for MyWay.com it states the pural portals

Just reading all the links in the news releases and put the connections together. DOes make you wonder a lot about what may be happening. Of course I could be dead wrong but it is entertaining matching up the news as the events happen.

:-)

I am awaiting to see what else is in the background on John's statement "As we move into the new millennium, CBQ will continue partnering with major content and technology providers that meet our niche market requirements," commented John Harris, CEO, CBQ, Inc. "MyWay.com will provide feature rich content and capabilities for our new customers."

Could be very interesting ...
