Mark-- I've monitored recent changes in Glass-Steagall (how ironic) and changes in margin requirements (how reminiscent)...other than that I haven't taken the ol' history degrees out for a spin in a while. Get a load of the coupon passes and repos today. biz.yahoo.com Now prior to these actions the NAZ was serious selling off...then miraculously managed to close up 50 pts. (Compare the timing of the Naz reverse to the announcements from The Fed.) Yesterday The Fed did nothing (other than preannounce their intention "to print") and we got a down NAZ. Interesting, no? >>>It seems to me we are due for a blowoff.<<< I think we're "blowing off" right now. (NAZ lows exceed highs today.) This whole thing "blows" IMHO.
