Things are often choppy around options expiration, and this month has the added excitement of the approach of Y2k. I have a bit (actually quite a lot) of "dry powder" which I hope to put to good use if any serious craziness arises. Tuesday's drop comes pretty close to what I'm looking for, but I held off. Unfortunately, I expect to be fairly busy with other things the next couple of days, so might not be as attentive to the market as I should. Nonetheless, I still hope to catch a sharp dip with high volume; those seem to have been pretty good buying opportunities in the past. I'm also fairly exposed to semiconductors (ADI and LSI) and they sold off Tuesday, too, so I'll be watching them as well.

JMHO.
