Re: Bloody car; head rests Yes, I'd say the odds favor any random car as having head rests. However, I don't think one would be much of an impediment if pushed all the way down, or if someone reached around them. Suzanne was five foot five if that helps anyone out there figure out her "exposure". Nevertheless an excellent point and something I should take notice of next time I get in the car. The blood part does bother me. For some reason I've always assumed the car used was stolen and had this fantasy that if I were able to track down all the stolen cars from the 12/4/98 time period I'd find the "right" one. However, one would think if any stolen cars had lots of blood in the front seat the police would have noticed so I don't hold much hope here. If the car were not stolen, any blood inside would long since have been cleaned although I'm not sure if blood can ever totally be washed out so I still have hope on this one. I'm pretty sure the Best Buddies folks were mentally, not physically, handicapped. I've never read any news articles about any of them being interviewed nor the "co-worker" whom Suzanne drove home in the borrowed Yale car prior to returning it. Heck, I can't find anyone who even knows these people's names! I do have calls in to people who I think might know but haven't gotten any returned. I called the church where the pizza party was held and they said Yale just rents space there so no church personnel were present. There is no walking shortcut on the route leading from Phelps Gate to the crime scene. There are numerous buildings between the blocks, not open space. The two routes I drove would be the fastest two to get there. As for whether she was wearing headphones, that's an interesting thought. All I can say is my cliche that one would think something that glaring (assuming it weren't knocked off her head) would have been reported as part of the crime scene. Tonight I'll try to call the woman who lives on that corner and see what she has to say. - Jeff
